To create your DIY e-liquid, here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
- A neutral PG/VG base
- One or more flavors/concentrates
- Optional: one or more nicotine boosters
- Optional: additives to personalize your blend (more sugar, more freshness, a hint of vanilla, a candy flavor, etc.)
- An empty bottle for your preparation
- A syringe or graduated bottle for dosing the base and the flavors
Steps:
- Pour the neutral PG/VG base into your empty bottle.
- If you wish, add the nicotine boosters.
- Dose and add your flavors according to the dosage recommendations indicated on the product sheet (generally between 10% and 20% dilution). For example, for 10ml of e-liquid at 10%, mix 1ml of flavor with 9ml of neutral base.
- Optional: add additives to personalize your liquid.
- Close the bottle and shake it vigorously for 30 to 60 seconds to mix well.
- Let your e-liquid rest away from light and at room temperature to allow the flavors to mature.
Maturation (steeping):
Although you can vape immediately, it is recommended to wait for maturation for a better diffusion of the flavors in the base:
- Fruity and menthol flavors: 2 to 5 days
- Indulgent flavors (cakes, muffins, cream, etc.): 2 to 3 weeks
- Classic flavors: 2 to 3 weeks
- Tip: during maturation, open the bottle to air your e-liquid, close and shake again.
Ready to vape:
After waiting for maturation, you can enjoy your e-liquid. If the flavors are not to your taste, adjust by adding base or flavors, shake and let rest for 24h.
