The replacement process is simple:
- Detach the tank.
- Remove the old resistor from the base.
- Install the new resistor on the base.
- Reassemble the tank with the new resistor.
You can make this change without having to empty the tank. To properly prime the new resistor, draw several times through the drip tip during the first filling. You can also close the adjustable airflow to help the wicks absorb the liquid. Poor priming can lead to an unpleasant burnt taste, so be careful.
