Tips for optimal use:
Smok's TFV9 resistors are powerful with large feed ducts. For efficient use and to avoid leaks, favor High-VG e-liquids containing at least 70% vegetable glycerin (VG).
A worn TFV9 resistor can result in a decrease in flavor and vapor, abnormal leaks, or even a burnt taste. When you replace your resistor, remember to prime it by applying a little e-liquid directly onto the cotton, through the openings all around the resistor. After installing a new resistor and filling the tank, let it soak in e-liquid for about ten minutes before starting to use your TFV9 clearomizer again.
To replace the resistor of your TFV9 clearomizer:
- Unscrew the base of the TFV9 clearomizer to access the resistor.
- Unscrew the worn resistor out of the tank.
- Screw a new resistor into the base.
- Screw the base back on and fill the tank.
- Wait about ten minutes after changing the resistor before starting to vape with your TFV9 clearomizer again!
